Marina has traveled far and wide performing as a singer/songwriter. Her solo career began in 2006 in New York City, and in the ensuing years she has taken her music from Manhattan to San Francisco, Philadelphia, and most recently Europe! Blending jazz, folk and rock, Evans counts among her vocal influences such jazz greats as Billie Holliday and Anita O'Day; she is also greatly influenced by songwriters Leonard Cohen, Joni Mitchell, and Bob Dylan.
